- How does ForeignPoint works?
We have many options for lodging in different and best Buenos Aires locations. If you already are in Buenos Aires and would like to visit any property listed you can complete the "Property Form" that is below each detail property page. You also can send us this form to ask about any question about the property you like. Your questions don´t implied any book commitment.
In case you want to make a reservation, complete the “Property Form” with the check-in/out dates you need the unit and we´ll contact you and inform you how to proceed.
We do not take reservations for rooms without previous interview with the property owner. (back)
- How can I do to visit an apartment/room?
In case you already are in Buenos Aires and want to visit a property (room or apartment), just complete the “Property Form” mentioning this in the comments field and we´ll contact you by mail to arrange a date. (back)
- How can I reserve a property?
In case you want to make a reservation, just fill the “Property Form” mentioning this in the comments and make sure to complete the check-in/out dates. We´ll contact you to inform you how to proceed.
Reservations are not refundable. We´ll discount the reservation amount from you first payment.

- How can I know the property reservation amount?
Reservation required for a month or more is 30% of the monthly rent. Reservation required for less than a month is 30% of the whole rental period. In the check-in you must pay the other 70% plus the security deposit . (back)
- How can I know the price rent for less than a month?
In case you want to rent a property for less than a month and you can´t find the price for your period in the prices box, please complete the “Property Form” with your check-in/out dates and ask about the period price in the comments. We´ll contact you to inform you the rate. (back)
- What documentation do I need to rent a property?
To rent a property you must be older than 18 years old.
If you are foreigner you need to present your passport.
If you are Argentinean you have to present your DNI and your salary receipt.
If you are staying in a property for long periods and you are working or studying in Buenos Aires you might be asked to present also a certificate from the University or working Institution. (back)
- What does price includes?
Prices includes water, gas and electricity services and building and city taxes.
You can see in each property page if they include aditional services as cable, Internet, maid service.

- Are commissions included?

- Are phone calls included in prices?
Some property rates include free local calls, and in some cases also some International calls. If this is not specified in property details and the unit has a phone, you must pay for your calls or just buy a phone card to make them. In all properties calls to cellphones are not included; you must buy a phone card to make them. (back)
- Do all properties have Internet connection?
Most properties have Internet connection.
You can see in each property detail an icon that shows if it has Internet LAN or Wi-Fi. (back)
- What do I have to pay when I check-in?
You have to pay your first month in advance and a security deposit in your check-in. In case you´ve made a reservation, you only have to complete payment amount plus the security deposit.
If you are staying less than a month you should pay for all your rental period plus the security deposit in advance in the check-in. (back)
- What happens if I lose my flight and my check-in is delayed?
In case you can´t check-in the date you´ve reserve, contact us to make another appointment.
In all cases rental payment begins the day you´ve reserve previously. (back)
- Can I change my check-in date if I already made a reservation?
If you want to change your check-in to a previous date, you should contact us to info@foreignpoint.com to check availability.
If you want to delay your check-in date, you should contact us with 30 days in advance.
Otherwise we can rearrange your check-in date but you will have to pay from your first reservation check-in date. (back)
- When do I receive property keys?
You will receive property keys in your check-in date when all payments are done and required documentation is presented. Please do not compromise ForeignPoint. Be sure to have all documentation and payments needed in your check-in. (back)
- What is a Security deposit?
The Security deposit is a guarantee for the owner in case that the apartment or something in the property is damaged.
When you arrived you´ll get a property inventory with the apartment belongings and furniture that you should keep in good maintenance. In this inventory you will find also prices for these elements, that will be discounted from the deposit in case of any damage. (back)
- How can I know the amount of the security deposit?
In case you are staying for a month or more, the security deposit is a month rental amount.
In case you are staying less than a month, the security deposit is equal to the whole rent. (back)
- When do I get the security deposit back?
The security deposit is refundable and you are getting it back in the check-out when you return the keys and after the property inventory was checked. (back)
- How can I pay my rental and reservation?
Reservations and rental payments are made by a bank deposit. Bank commissions have also to be pay by you. If you already are in Buenos Aires we can inform you about the nearest Bank from your location. (back)
- Which are the check-in/out time schedules?
Check-in/out time schedules will be arrange previously.
Check-in/out before 8hs and after 19hs. has an additional cost of u$s10. (back)
- What happens if I have to leave the property before the arranged check-out date?
If you want to change your check-out date you must notify us with 30 or more days in advance. Otherwise a penalty policy will be apply: you must pay the days to your new check-out date plus the remaining days to cover 1 month of rental from your notification day. (back)
